AutoVue TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

autovue, Web Version Windows

Server:

  • Microsoft Windows 2008 32-bit, Windows 2003R2 32-bit, Windows 2003R2 64-bit
    (AutoVue running in 32-bit mode), or Vista 32-bit.
  • The installation requires about 400MB of free space.
  • The memory requirements depend on the size and the complexity of the files being viewed.

Client:

Clients running the following Java Virtual Machines:

  • Sun Java VM 1.4.2 update 13, Sun Java VM 1.5.0 update 11 and Sun Java VM 6.0.

The following OSes and browsers:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0Sp2, Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, FireFox 2.0 on Windows OS
  • Safari 2.0.4, Firefox 2.0 on Apple MAC OS X 10.4
  • Firefox 2.0 on RedHat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Firefox 2.0 on Linux SUSE10 Sp2
  • Mozilla 1.7 on Solaris 10 Sparc

Application Servers:

 The VueServlet has been certified on the following application servers:

  • Tomcat 5.5
  • WebSphere 5.1
  • WebLogic 9.0
  • Oracle Application Server 10g R3
  • JRUN 4
  • Jetty 6.0

 

autovue, Web Version Linux

The following are certified by Oracle:

Server:

  • Redhat Enterprise Linux 4.4 (x86)—32-bit only.
  • Xvfb version xorg-x11-Xvfb-6.8.2-1.EL.13.36
  • Xvfb must be installed on the system with XRender and GLX extension.
  • Mesa version 6.5.2 (RHELrpms: xorg-x11-Mesa-libGL-6.8.2-1.EL.18, xorg-x11-MesalibGLU-

    6.8.2-1.EL.18)

    Note: Use the Red Hat Update Agent, up2date, to download the latest Xvfb and Mesa files.

  • The installation requires about 400MB of free space.

Web Servers:

  • Apache HTTP Server Version 2.0

Note: The memory requirement is dependent on the size and complexity of files you try to
view with AutoVue.
